Ran into a Mardi Gras Parade yesterday while visiting a nearby town for some Chinesse Food and late afternoon outing. This is my favorite photo from the day. Look at those cheekers. Milo had a great time, with all the beads and candy he recieved. There was also much 'kicking & stomping' of snow.
Also, Milo met his 1st friend in our new town. There is a 2 1/2 year old boy named Aidan who lives next store. His Mama was very enthusiastic about a playdate soon! All day he talked about his new friend, "we go play, next door, he is done eating." All day. Hopefully we see 'new friend Aidan' real soon.

Another entry of why Milo is so damn adorable:
Yesterday while taking a bath Chris said, "Milo, your cool" Milo replied, "Dad your cool & Mama's cool." Chris said, "What about you, MIlo, aren't you cool too?" To that Milo replied, "I'm not cool, I'm just Mymo."

Well, the storm is hitting us and we've had fun today, alternating between cookie warmth and shoveling sidewalks. Hopefully we dont get more than 12 inches, Chris still has to make it to work in the morning!

The other day I asked Milo what he liked most about the snow, he said, "stomping & kicking" What a boy!

Hope all is well in snowsville. We are waiting up here in Maine for the whopper of a Nor-easter.

Onto better news, Chris has a new job! Hazza and Kudos to him.
We shall call him the Jamalaya Keys from now on, Go BBQ!

well we were able to digg up the camera charger and braved the weather for some sunlight. This is a photo of the Kennebeck river frozen solid. Chris has been tempted to go out on it and play, but his past with wet shoes changed his mind.

Before the move and in the early weeks of January, we went to Zane's house for a visit and to play in the snow.
These are some photos from that day.

All is well here in the winter wonderland. Still adjusting to out new digs, which Milo is defintly loving. We are still in the throws of unpacking, but it gets better day by day.

Ok so tomorrow is the big day.
Us three pack it up and head north(er). We might be a while with out an internet connection, so we might be a little hard to get in touch with. We are packing tonight and tomorrow we load up the 28 ft U-haul. Chris gets to brush up on his Manual shifting.

Finally getting around to putting the photos up from Christmas. They include Christmas morning, Christmas Eve at Great Grandma's House & a visit with some old friends, including Tiny & Bud, Melissa & April and some shots around town.
Just got back into Portland last night, for the second time in a month. The ride to and fro is like old hat.
Now we are on to moving. Milo is excited to have a bathtub.
