The Second Annual Little Halloweeners Afternoon Masquerade went off without a hitch, this past Thursday. Many a character was present, even Grandma from the Big Bad Wolf made an appearance. There were many witchy Moms and one excellent chef Dad. Chris was a star among the Mamas with his hit squash soup with crustinie....
The kids had fun running around and playing with each others bits of costumes. Milo was especially cute and he even kept his hat on, well at least for a bit, he only wears hats outside! Smart Kid!
Look for the up coming photos on Halloween when we go to the Halloween Parade.
Hope all is well. Its good here in the great old state o Maine, starting to get a bit chilly though. Seems we are staying put for the winter in our cozy digs....

Go tell it on the Mountain
We went hiking last Sunday up on top of Bradbury Mountain. This was the foggy view from the top. By the time we made it to the bottom, the sun had burned all the fog away!
We are enjoying the last few weeks of August, being out and about. Milo is loving the playground, as always. I think tomorrow we are gonna hit the beach in the AM.
Maine is so beautiful this time of year. And if I can entice any of our dear readers to visit, now would be a fantastic time. Also I will be performing on Friday, Sept. 9 at the Space Gallery on Congress Street in the evening. Myself and Catherine will be doing our debut of the Dirty Dervish Delight, in an outdoor bonanza. If any of you are questioning what this Dervish Delight is, I will elaborate. It is Roller Burlesque, but we will be keeping out much toiled over costumes on!
So come one, come all!
Milo sends his love from nap land, and please do go into Flickr and enjoy the new photos.
Ciao!

goddess gathering, getting out and getting down
In New Hampshire this weekend was Gailstorm's annual Goddess Gathering at her beautiful home.
It was warm and sunny, and the goddesses were afoot in the wood.
I was honored to attend. Here are some photos from an evening well spent. It was my first away from Milo and was an amazing experience to sleep alone in my tent..........
thank you, Gail and all you wonderful godesses Callie, Kaitlin, Laura, Jen Hag, Joanna, Megan, Erin, Maria, Karen, Brooke, Jamie, Willow, Rebecca, Mary, Amy, The Mom and daughter who I never got their names, Debbie and her Dominque, The Glow Girls, Duke, and one woman who I didn't speak with, and last but not least Lucia, Lucy, Lucie........and Chris for making it possible for me to attend.
I look forward to next year with a huge smile...........

2 hats are better than one
Gram left this morning, in the haze of a very early morning. We had a fun week with brake replacement and beach journeys, plus an excursion or two to the wading pool. We had a roasted chicken and bacon. We laughed alot. I finally learned how to use the sewing machine! (Thanks Pat!)
Milo is getting huge. He loves the sand and surf. Flinging wet sand and rocks. Muttering crazy words like "onoff" and "ishy". At Dr. Balzer's this week he weighed 24.7 and was 31 inches long. He started climbing with a vengence in the apartment. He even climbed into the toy box this week. (please see photos)
We are making plans for many a Philly journey this fall, stay tuned!
Big ups to Nina...!
